In Monaco, there is virtually nothing to separate one season from another. Autumn brings no falling leaves. The sky remains blue, the sun shines on, the gardens are still ablaze with flowers but imperceptibly, as happened in the recent eclipse of the sun, the temperature gradually falls, the noise and the pace of life gradually quieten down. The children go back to school and we can take our morning coffee in relative peace and catch up with the local gossip …
